In this session, presenters provide youth perspectives and human rights-based assessments about the newly-elected leaders of India, South Korea, and the Philippines and their governments’ platforms on youth empowerment and peacebuilding. Furthermore, this session provides recommendations to the newly-elected governments in India, the Philippines, South Korea, and the international community to empower young people in decision-making processes and promote human rights and democratic institutions.
