The G20 endorsed equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines and financial support for low- and middle-income countries through the Rome Declaration at the 2021 Rome Summit. In addition, BioNTech-Pfizer, the U.S. pharmaceutical company, promised to allow the production of a copy drug so that 95 low- and middle-income countries would be able to produce it without paying for the vaccine’s patents. However, the emergence of new variants of the coronavirus prevents a global society from addressing the virus spreading at a faster pace. This session aims to collect critical evaluations of multilateral efforts of each country’s government and international institute to address the global crisis and clear goals and suggestions for sustainable pandemic management. Then, we intend to write and send an open letter to each country’s government and international institute.
